McFarland, Wade Ray

Wade Ray McFarland of Arnold, MO entered into rest on Monday, November 14, 2022.  He was born on January 22, 1939 in Elvins, Missouri to the late James Newton and Ethyl Irene (nee Russell) McFarland; beloved husband of Judith Ann (nee Johnson) McFarland of 60 years.

Loving father of Rae Ann (Mike) Noah the late Michael Scott (Cathie) McFarland; loving grandfather of Thomas (Catrina) McFarland, Cara (Francisco) Avalos, Michelle (Will) Bryant, Kathryn Noah, Christine (Mark) Thompson, Shannon McFarland and Kerri McFarland.  Proud great grandfather to17 great grandchildren.  Dear brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

He served 4 years in the United States Air Force along with 35 years of service as a sergeant on the St. Louis County Police Department.  Wade passionately served his family and friends with the love of Christ and will be missed deeply by all who knew him.

Services:  Visitation will be Thursday, November 17th 4 pm to 7 pm at Canaan Baptist Church and celebration of his life will be Friday, November 18th, 10:00 am at Canaan Baptist Church 5409 Baumgartner and Lemay Ferry Rd.  Interment St. Francis Memorial Park in Bonne Terre, MO.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Backstoppers and Samaritan’s Purse.  KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY SERVICE
