Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Maria Magallon (Enriqueta Hernandez) de 82 años quien falleció pacíficamente el Jueves, 27 de Marzo del 2025 en Saint Louis, MO. Ella nació el 13 de Septiembre del 1942 en El Llano, Michoacan, México.

Hija de Luis Magallon y Domitila Hernandez, y viuda de Diego Hernandez. María era una mamá, hermana, abuela, bisabuela, suegra, tía. Fue muy querida por todos y cada una de las personas que la conocieron. Le sobreviven 5 hermanos, 5 hijastros, 8 hijos, 33 nietos, y 55 bisnietos.

María demostraba su amor hacia todos haciendo lo que más le apasionaba que era cocinar. Uno de sus platos especiales es el tradicional mole, el cual ella muchas veces preparó para celebrar diferentes ocasiones como bodas y quinceañeras. Siempre que la visitaban en su casa ella les ofrecía comida.

María le hará mucha falta a toda su familia pero convivió y disfrutaron muchos momentos especiales haciendo recuerdos que perdurarán para siempre.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Maria Magallon (Enriqueta Hernandez), 82, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2025, in Saint Louis, MO. She was born on September 13, 1942, in El Llano, Michoacan, Mexico.

The daughter of Luis Magallon and Domitila Hernandez, and the widow of Diego Hernandez, Maria was a mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, and aunt. She was loved by each and every one who knew her. She is survived by her 5 siblings, 5 stepchildren, 8 children, 33 grandchildren, and 55 great-grandchildren.

Maria showed her love for everyone by doing what she loved most: cooking. One of her special dishes is the traditional mole, which she often prepared to celebrate different occasions such as weddings and quinceañeras. Whenever people visited her home, she would offer them food.

María will be greatly missed by her entire family, but they shared many special moments together, creating memories that will last forever.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Saturday, April 5, 8:45 a.m. for 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Cecilia Catholic Church (5418 Louisiana Ave, St. Louis, MO 63111). Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4-8 p.m.
