In memory of a dear aunt, and just all around amazing human being to all. Many of us called her Sissy/ Aunt Sissy (Childhood nickname) to realize later in life that she preferred her birth name, Kathy. But for her, she knew that’s just who she was to us, and that’s the kind of person she was, to allow others just to be. Even in the last year, she left a voicemail to me saying “this is your Aunt Sissy or aunt Kathy, whatever y’all call me”. Ha ha. She would always put on a smiling face, laugh, or just make a joke. And always the human version of unconditional love. Raised a beautiful family and still had so much love to give as an aunt, etc., and that tells you everything. Beautiful person on the inside and out. I will forever miss just picking up the phone to call and hear her voice and to catch-up, but the childhood and adult memories and all the love will be with me and all of us for the rest of our lives. I love you Aunt Sissy!! And to all our beautiful family who are morning this great loss as well.
Love, Dana (niece in Florida). And my husband, Lui, who loved her dearly and was accepted from day one/34 years ago, by not only our aunt but our entire beautiful family; whom she was a downline of so much love and the family who now are an exceptional example of the downline of her love.
