Shepherd, L. Z. Friday April 18, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen A. Shepherd (nee McMullen). Dear father of Daniel (Miranda) Shepherd and step-father of Robert (Ashley) Shepherd, Christine (Brian) Missey and the late Frank (survived by Marcia) Shepherd. Dear grandpa of Daniel, Jack, Samantha, Macy, Robin, Mason, Lilly and Reagan. Dear brother of Joe (Karen) Shepherd, Wava Hartman, Annalee Cherry and the late Dorothy Jones, Darrell Shephard and Leland Shepherd. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend.

Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Friday April 25 at 8:30 am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated. Visitation Thursday 4-7 pm.

  1. Uncle Zeke had an easy going personality and a quick wit, these were two traits that made him a blast to be around. We spent a lot of time on four wheeler rides exploring the country side there in Wayne County. Sharing the beauty of the woods and the sky. Those are some of our fondest memories.
    He was an inspiration and influence on our daughters, they dearly loved him.
    To say he will be missed just doesn’t do his memory justice.
    We love you Zeke.
