Walley was a man of faith, dedicated spouse and parent. He was an avid sports fan cheering on Notre Dame Football, St. Louis Blues Hockey, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, family get togethers and especially with the grandchildren. His greatest joy was sitting on the couch with the love of his life Barbara just holding hands.

I’ll always love remembering the night I kind of don’t remember, meeting Walley and Barb and the love of my life for the first time at a good friend’s wedding. The start of sharing margaritas and so much more. Everyone who knew him, knows he really was the nicest man on earth. Best father-in-law, golfing buddy, trusted friend, tickle monster, dad-jokester, St. Louis tour guide, extremely supportive, and always there in the tough times. I can think of so many more memories, and he’s smiling in every one of them. Love you Walley!
So many great memories over these many years. He truly loved his family and will be deeply missed.
Wally you weren’t just my best friend You were my brother. I will never forget the memories we made from the day we started St Thomas as the new kids in the 5th grade and how they continued all through our lives. I’ll never forget every laugh you gave me, teaching me to drive and how hard we laughed when your dad would always tell us”stop jacking around”. Thank you for always being there. There was nobody kinder and more understanding than you. Wally you will be missed more than words can explain but you will never be forgotten. May God welcome you into His kingdom with open arms. You rest easy my Brother. Love You Forever!
