We celebrate the long, full, and meaningful life of Kwiatkowski, David A. (Dave) 79 of Higbee, Missouri, who passed away on June 12th, 2026. A proud and honorable patriot, he dedicated a vital chapter of his life to the United States Navy. Serving courageously during multiple conflicts, receiving several honors and medals, and continuing his dedication in the Reserves, he embodied the values of loyalty and duty throughout his entire life. While he was a proud first-class petty officer, his greatest joy was his extensive and growing family.
Dave leaves behind a beautiful legacy spanning multiple generations. He is survived by three children – one daughter: Leah, and two sons: Daniel and David Jr. – his seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He has now been reunited with his beloved child, Victoria, who passed away before him.
He will be remembered for his strength, his captivating storytelling from his days at sea, and the deep love he held for his family and the great outdoors.
SERVICES: A celebration of his life will take place on Monday, June 29th, 2026, at Affton Kutis Funeral Home 10151 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123.
Visitation begins at 9:30am with a memorial service at 11:30am. A burial with full military honors will follow at 12:30pm at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery .
