Eileen Marie Fitzgerald passed away on Saturday morning at 1:30 AM – June 20,2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was just 63 years old.
Born on January 15,1963 in St. Louis, Missouri. Eileen lived a life marked by resilience, determination, and strength.
Eileen was the mother of four children and a grandmother to her beloved grandchildren. While life sometimes placed distance between her and those she loved, her family remained in her thoughts and in her heart. She loved them from afar, carrying memories, hopes, and affection for them throughout the years.
She is survived by her four children, Ricky (Kristina) Stang of St. Louis, MO, Angela (Dylan) Cleeton of Kansas City, MO, Lacey Nowak of Parkhills, MO, and Melanie Nowak of Parkhills, MO; her seven grandchildren; Oliver Stang, Ricky Cleeton, Owen Cleeton, Sophia Cleeton, Charolette Day, Morgan DeClue, and Jordan DeClue, and her four siblings; Thomas, Taffy, Timothy, and Denny Fitzgerald; and many extended family members and friends who will remember her.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents Thomas C. (2005) and Inez A. Fitzgerald (1995).
The family extends its gratitude to those who have provided comfort and support during her illness.
A service celebrating Eileen Fitzgerald’s life will be held on Friday June 26,2026.
Public Visitation is from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, with short service at Kutis Chapel starting at 10:30 AM.

Though her path was not always easy, she leaves behind a story of perseverance and a family whose lives are forever connected to hers. May she find the peace that eluded her in life and the rest she so richly deserves.
