James Robert Helbig, age 77, passed away at his home on July 30, 2026.
Jim was the dear son of the late James and LaVerne Helbig. Beloved brother of Pat (Chuck) Loeffel, Susan Collins, Linda Fragale, the late Mike (Debra) Helbig, Tom Helbig, Nancy (Jerry) Tracy, Bob (Vicky) Helbig, John (Shari) Helbig, Greg (Roni) Helbig, and Larry Helbig . Dear brother-in-law, uncle, and cousin.
Jim was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues and never missed a televised game. For a significant portion of his life he enjoyed fishing and hiking in the great outdoors.
Jim will be greatly missed.
