Freeman, D.M.D., Floyd M. passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017.

Beloved husband of Ruth Freeman (nee Hoessle) for almost 60 years; dear father of Stuart T., Eric A., Dr. Mark (Carmen) Freeman; dear father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Dr. Freeman graduated from Cleveland High School, Washington University and its Dental School. After 2 years of service as a Captain in The Army Dental Corps in Germany, he opened his own practice in St. Louis Hills where he served patients for 50 years – several generations of families.

Floyd was a member of the St. Louis Dental Society, The St. Louis Metropolitan Pigeon Club and raised prize winning show pigeons. He also enjoyed gardening, flying model planes, fishing and tying flies. Floyd loved family activities and celebrations.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Thursday, March 2, 10 a.m. Interment St. Paul Churchyard Cemetery. Contributions to a charity of your choice. Visitation Wednesday, 4-8 p.m.
