Devoted wife of Matthew Jones, beloved daughter of David & Brenda Ladd and Ronald & Jackie Spicer, and dedicated mother of Ethan Groves, Alyssa Jones, and Lylah Jones. Adored sister to Jeff & Jacqueline Ladd, loving aunt to Theo Ladd, beloved granddaughter to Melba Young & late Hiram Young, caring niece and cousin to many, and dear friend to many more. Jayme was the epitome of outgoing. She wanted nothing more in life than to be happy and to make others happy. Her trademark laugh was a cornerstone to her infectious personality, and she brought a ray of light into every room she entered.
She was a wonderful mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt, friend, and teacher. If you needed her, she was there for you unconditionally. Words cannot describe the impact she had on our lives. We loved her more than she’ll ever know. She was taken from us far too soon.
Jayme’s caring and loving personality extended just as deep to her care and love of animals. If an animal came into her life, it became a part of her. She cared for them with everything she had. To her, rescuing animals wasn’t just giving them a home, but it was giving them a family.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking to make a donation to the Humane Society of Missouri in her name so she can continue to make an impact on the animals she was so passionate about.
