Bennett, Martha Jeannine “Jean”, (nee Dement), February 4, 1929 – May 29, 2018, formerly of  Barnhart, MO.

Daughter of the late Forrest and Eltie (nee Dexter) Dement; wife of the late Rev.  Hiram D. Bennett for 55 years; mother of Judy (Jack) Montgomery, Sue (the late Dale) Mullins, Charles (Beth) Bennett, Martha Cook,  and Brian (Laura) Bennett; grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 16; preceded in death by great-grandson Gabriel Olivares, brother James Dement and sisters Blondell Wright and Ann Robertson; our dear aunt, great-aunt, and dear friend of many.

Jean retired from UniGroup, formerly United Van Lines, as a government biller, was a long time member of First Baptist Church of  Arnold and was a faithful and loving pastor’s wife.

Services: Visitation at First Baptist Church of Arnold on  Thursday,  May 31, from 4 to 8 p.m. with funeral service on  Friday, June 1 at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the  Celebration Choir at the First Baptist Church of Arnold  appreciated.  Interment J.B. National Cemetery. A Kutis South County Chapel Service.
