Wampler, Margene

Margene Wampler(nee Hudnall) was born in Orlando, FL on April 9, 1930.  She later met the love of her life Darrell Wampler, Sr. and married on October 8, 1960. They were happily married with a house full of love for 59 years and 3 months.

Margene was a devoted and loving mother.  She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a “Grandmother” to her 14 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren.  Margene loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her.  She would spend hours cooking and preparing for her family and friends.

Margene was known for her feisty, yet sweet sense of humor.  She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Margene was the beloved wife of Darrell Wampler, Sr. devoted mother of Keith & (Jane) McDaniel, Darrell Jr. & (Charlotte) Wampler, (Pat) & Tina DeNatale, Blaine & (Terry) Wampler, (Lee) & Debbie Bowers, (John Peters) & Tammy Wampler.

She was a loving sister to Harvey Hudnall, Lester Hudnall and Colleen Hudnall Douville. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and her loving pets Smokey and Fawn.

Preceding her in death is her Mother & Father Mary (Harvey) & James Hudnall and Grandson Timothy McDaniel and great-granddaughter Isabella Wampler.

Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Wednesday, January 15, 4-8 p.m. then she will be taken to First Baptist Church of Arnold for visitation Thursday, January 16, from 9 a.m. until time of service 10 a.m.. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery.
