Beloved husband of the late Dee Ina Praechter (nee Neuhaus); dearest father of Debbie Dee Praechter and Brian Robert (Susan) Praechter; dear grandfather of Dr. Danielle (Dr. Beau) Fishel, Sarah Praechter, Drew (Emily) Pfyl and Deanne Pfyl; adoring great-grandfather of Riley Fishel-Albright, Blake Fishel, Clayton Fishel; dear sister-in-law of Shirley (the late Ron) Cissell; our dearest uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Bob served in the US Navy as Lt. J.G.; he was a charter member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Bob was a board member of W.I.S.H. (West Indies Self Help). He was a Scoutmaster. He loved God, his family and friends. He enjoyed his time spent at the Lake of the Ozarks. His hobbies included target shooting, scuba diving, sailing and traveling. “Those who touched our lives stay in our hearts forever.”

 Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Tuesday, February 21, from 4-8 p.m. then on Wednesday at Ascension Lutheran Church (Donovan and Eichelberger) from 10:30 a.m. until funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Interment at J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Ascension Lutheran Church or W.I.S.H. appreciated.
