  1. I am proud to call him my uncle. I treasure the memories of his kindness, entertaining stories about his childhood and adolescent years. He had us laughing all the time with either a joke with such an expressive face – raising his eyebrows – or a magic trick from which all of us as children – from multiple generations – earned a lot of quarters !!! Such an exemplary example you set with your family. A life well lived.

    I love you,

    Julie

  5. Thinking of your family during this time. I will always remember the big smile on Uncle Bob’s face and his jovial nature. I also have memories of playing the “pick a hand for a quarter” game. I also remember going with my dad, Denny, to visit Uncle Bob at the auto body shop. We still have a toy safe that he gave to our children when he visited us in Florida. May the love of those around you provide you with comfort and strength.

  7. Dearest Family and Friends,

Sending prayers and condolences for the loss of your Special Loved One.

Bob and I are related by his marriage to my sister, Velma “Sammie”, and he has been an important part of my family for a very long time. I have the distinction of knowing him, in excess of 75 years, most of his adult life, and we share many delightful memories.

Wishing everyone God’s comfort and peace, now, and in the days ahead. Rest well.
May God bless all of his family and many friends. He will be greatly missed.

    Love,
    Bettie (Sutton) Koerber

  9. I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Uncle Bob. He was such a jokester and loved to make everyone laugh. I will always remember his big bear hugs (and the scent of his cologne, which lingered long after the hug – in a good way), his cheers when he was able to come to some of my basketball games and the twinkle he always had in his eyes. He was always kind and generous, and he will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy goes to your family at this difficult time.

  11. It is with sympathy and pride that I write this message. Uncle Bob amazed me by being a generous man with a wife, six children, a home, and his business. Yet, he took time to care about all of us, help others, and maintain a consistently pleasurable disposition.

Every time I encountered him, he had the happy knack of making people like him.

Denny, me, and our family were blessed by the countless ways Uncle Bob enhanced our lives.

Although he has moved on to heaven, and we will miss him, he will always live on in our hearts.
