Charles J. Bogard Sr, passed away on November 23, 2025 2 months shy of his 100th birthday. World War 2 Navy Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline A Bogard and Lvira “Vi” Bogard.
Dearest father of Dr. Jacqueline Bogard (Bob Harvey), Charles J. Bogard Jr (Nina), Janis Serati (Tom), Stepfather of the late J. Clifford Blake (Susan). Cherished Grandfather of Charles J. Bogard III (Tiffany), Stephanie, Diane (Tyler) and Claire Serati, Jessica Byrd (Michael). Adoring Great Grandfather of Mason and Jackson Bogard.

SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Monday, December 22, from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In my “Eyes” you made it to “100”. I so cherished our visits with you and Vi eating Feddhoffers while telling each other great stories. You are now in heaven with the entire “Bogard Family” enjoy. What a great Uncle you are and have been. Love you to the moon and back and I will miss you dearly. Thanks again for fixing our kitchen wall when me moved into our house. While the drywall mud was drying you were downstairs also fixing our duct work. Hehehehe that’s who you were. The Best Uncle Charlie EVER 🙂
