In Loving Memory

Callahan, Marilyn Ann

Marilyn Ann Callahan (nee Zwilling)

Callahan, Marilyn Ann. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the age of 68. Born August 19,1957 to Helen Mae (nee McDonough) and George “Gus” Zwilling. Marilyn grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. She shared a close bond with her siblings: Ken (Wesley) Zwilling, Martin (Eileen) Zwilling, Theresa Phillips and Laura (Dave) Zwilling. She also shared 25 years with her late husband Joseph D. Callahan whom always brought excitement and laughter to her life. Loving mother of Caroline M. Strain (nee Callahan).

Loving sister-in-law, aunt, mother-in-law and friend to many.  Favorite past times include family get togethers, Saturdays at Kirkwood Farmer’s Market, and  cheering on St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals. Since retirement, Marilyn re-discovered her love of gardening and cooking. There wasn’t a recipe out there that intimidated her and we all reaped the benefits.

She was a woman of deep faith and trust in the Lord.  Her family was her greatest joy.

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to The BackStoppers, Inc.

Services: Funeral Service from, on Saturday, June 20, 2026 9:15 a.m. to Seven Holy Founders with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. The interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at Kutis Funeral Home on Lemay Ferry Rd. Friday June 19, 2026 from 4-8 p.m.

  1. My dear friend for 55 years!! Shared sorrow and so many joys together. In each others weddings, births of our kiddos. I will miss you so, but I know you’ll be watching over all of us.
To Caroline and Dan, you have my deepest condolences and please know I’m here if you ever need anything I can help you with. To the rest of the Zwilling clan my condolences.
