  5. So very sorry for your loss. I was a customer of Reno’s for several years and truly respected him and always looked forward to seeing and talking with him. He cut my Father’s hair once when we could barely get him into the chair. And, he cut the hair of my fidgety 3 year old grandson. He always showed interest in what I was doing. And, I loved to learn about Sicily and Sicilians. Always asked me about my flying. I am already greatly missing him.

  9. My deepest sympathies to Reno’s family. I was a customer of Reno for 40 years. I will surely miss him and his stories of the old country. He made a haircut an event to look forward to with a twinkle in his eye.

  11. I am stunned at losing Reno. He cut my hair for 50 years. i would bring him a sandwich on many occasions and enjoyed him so much. How many times did i ask him are you taking care of yourself? He cut my Grandsons hair when they were small and now there all in there 20’s. So sad but i hope he is in a better place. he deserves it.

  13. I’ve known Reno for a long time he used to work at my dad shop Nick’s Continental on Hampton. When I was a little boy my dad did not want me crossing Hampton Avenue coming home from school. Reno would always run across grab my hand and take me across Hampton into the shop after school. He was well loved by his customers and friends. In 2009 when my father died I was glad I stop by Reno shop to say hello. I will always have fond memories of Reno, Ralph and John who works alongside of my dad for many years. My sincerest condolences for the loss of a great guy, prayers to you and your family, may he in eternal peace. Arrivederci Reno.

  15. So shocked and sorry to learn of this. My deepest condolences. My late Dad and I were long time customers and friends of Reno’s. Someone said earlier that getting a haircut from Reno was always an event with the spirited discussion. It’s true. I always looked forward to seeing Reno. I always enjoyed informing Reno that the bike race The Giro Della Montagna was coming up. He would always correct me that “Montagna” was “mountain” and “Collina” was “hill”. Rest in Heaven Reno.
