Mary Eubanks

In Loving Memory

Eubanks, Mary Sarita (nee Ulrich)

September 11, 1931 - July 13, 2026

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Saturday, July 18, 2026,

Beloved wife of the late Charles Francis Eubanks; loving mother of Steven (Carol) Eubanks, Karen (Tim) Donnelly, the late Charles David (surviving Mary) and Richard Allen Eubanks, adoring grandmother of Julia (Todd) Ringkamp and Michael M. Eubanks; cherished great-grandmother of Charlie, Nora and Teddy Ringkamp.  Dearest aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.

Mary grew up in Dogtown and was active in St. James the Greater parish.    She was the youngest of three (late Jack Ulrich and Dorothy Miller).  She loved to tap dance (she was proud of performing on the Admiral) and was a baton twirler in school.

After graduating, Mary worked at the telephone company for a number of years.  She met Charlie one day while sitting on her front porch.    Mary and Charlie got married on May 31, 1952 and soon had their first son, the late Charles (Chuck or Charlie).    They purchased their first home in Sunset Hills and had two other sons the late Richard, Steve, and a girl, Karen.    They eventually purchased a home in Ballwin and were there for over 20 years.     Mary was very active at Holy Infant parish, giving her time to many causes including the annual St. Patrick’s festivities.     Mary had a large group of friends through church, playing tennis, being a Den Mother and PTA.

In 1994 Mary and Charlie built a house in Troy Air Park.   Mary was very active in Sacred Heart parish and had a large group of friends.    Many would meet up for breakfast every Sunday after church.   Over the years Troy Air Park grew and so did Mary and Charlie’s social calendar.    Mary enjoyed tending to her flowers, yard work, word puzzles and enjoying the mornings and evenings on their deck.     She also enjoyed flying with Charlie.   She decided to take the ground school test (Charlie took it with her as a refresher); Mary scored a 100 on the test while Charlie scored in the 80’s (someone took studying seriously).

A pattern of faith, family, friends and giving of her time was Mary.   In the last few years Mary was a resident of Mattis Point Assisted Living.     She was known as “little Mary” who loved her ice cream, popcorn and the staff at Mattis.

Thanks to Father Tom for officiating this mass and those that have attended today and for all the thoughts and prayers.
