  1. I’ve been fortunate to have known Ruth for over 60 years. Being Cindy’s friend since she moved to St. Louis, I have spent most of my life loving and admiring Ruth. She is the kindest, sweetest caring person I know. I’ll always cherish memories of our girls trip (Ruth, Cindy, and I) took several years ago to Maine and Massachusetts. Ruth & Cindy showed me all the landmarks up East and I got to meet their family. It was so much fun to share all of that with Ruth. She will always be near and dear to my heart.

  2. Ruth was a lady in every sense of the word. There was never a hair out of place and evey outfit matched perfectly. But she was more than that. She was loving & caring and never missed sending me a birthday card. When she became too frail , she would ask Cindy to buy a card that she could send. I will miss those cards & loving notes. We always had fun with her Massachusetts dialect, which she never fully lost. Rest in peace, Ruth.

  3. Cindy and Diane, We are so sorry for the loss of your mother. Ruth was a very beautiful lady and sweet to all of us when our mom was sitting at her table at St. Agnes. We enjoyed visiting with you both as well and will miss all of you.

  4. I worked for/with Ruth at Maritz. What a progressive and wonderful woman. She created opportunities for younger women and helped break the glass ceiling there. Her style was perfection! We shared many laughs and stories during that time. May your wonderful memories give all of your families peace and joy.

    • Barb, I worked with you at Maritz back in the 70’s under Ruth. She ran the first word processing department. She was so professional and very proper woman. Such a role model.
