Baptized into the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Saturday, February 1st, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late William L. Hammond; dearest sister of Betty Rakers and the late Helen (Carlo) Aiello, August Augustine Jr., and Richard (survived by Ellen Kaye) Augustine; our dear aunt, great-aunt, stepmother, stepgrandmother, cousin, and friend.

SERVICES: Memorial visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Tuesday, February 11th, 9:30 AM until funeral ceremony at 10:30 AM. Inurnment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.

  1. I remember meeting Phyllis for the first time when she married my dad in 1975. She was a loving wife to my dad until he passed away in 2013. The two of them enjoyed a wonderful life together. They traveled together and went many places. I am sure they are both in Heaven now and smiling because they are together again

  2. Hello my name is Lynn Schifko. I cleaned for Phyllis at Bethesda Gardens. She was so nice! I always enjoyed visiting with her each week. She will be missed. Lynn
