A life well-lived and remembered … February 21, 1930 – January 25, 2020

Murl is survived by his biggest fan and wife of 65 years, Marlene Ava (Jaeger) Keiser; 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.  His daughter Teresa Lynn (Keiser) Bevard, son Ryan and daughter Sara;  his daughter Gail Marie (Keiser) Taylor and her husband Claude and son Kevin; Murl Mitchell (Mitch) and wife Kathleen (Brophy) and their 3 daughters Abbey, Kristie, Jocelyn and son Weston; son Michael William and wife Laura (Alden) and their 2 daughters Alexa and Makenzie and son Zachary; son Mark Christopher and wife Johnna and their 2 daughters Trisha and Lindsey.  Great grandchildren, Brianna, Nolan, Berkley and Ensley.

Born and raised in Murphysboro, Illinois, Murl was preceded in death by his father Murl Eugene, his mother Alma Teresa, his stepmother Mary Lou, and his step-brother James Briggs.  He is survived by his sister Marylyn Sue Pittman and her husband, Tom, and by his sister-in-law Mary Briggs and her son and family.

Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Friday January 31, 9:30 AM Interment JB National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM
