In Loving Memory

Krepps, Loretta L.

Loretta L. Krepps (January 22, 1936-October 15, 2022)

Loretta L. Krepps, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2022. She was born on January 22, 1936, to Hugh Mabury and Berniece (White) Mabury. She grew up attending Peach Tree General Baptist Church where her grandpa was a preacher. She was born and raised in Piedmont, Missouri, educated in a one room schoolhouse until completing the 8th grade, and then she attended and graduated from Piedmont High School in 1953.

Loretta lived a full, faith-filled life with lots of love and laughter. She was a loving daughter to her beloved parents. At 17 she married her high-school sweetheart, Bob Wymore, and enjoyed 32 years of marriage. Together they created a beautiful family with five children. After Bob’s passing, Loretta was blessed to find love once again on a blind date with Bob Krepps. She was married to him for 29 wonderful years. They were blessed to blend their two families together and create lots of amazing memories.

During her lifetime, she worked at New Era Shirt Factory, the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis, was a homemaker and she retired from the Admitting Department at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in 1993. She enjoyed travelling, doing needlework, she was an avid Cardinals baseball fan, and she was known for being a great cook.

Beloved wife of the late Robert L. Wymore and surviving Robert L. Krepps; loving mother of Steve (Patricia) Wymore, Mark (Patti) Wymore, the late Dennis Wymore, Kellie (Mike) Wymore, Jill (Shawn) Bloss, Rebecca (Rick) Koenemann, Ruth (Ron) Mansfield, Renee (Mike) Norman and Ricky (Shari) Krepps; adoring grandma of Nick (Maggie) Wymore, Kaitlyn (Jared) Richardson, Rob Wymore, Haley Wymore, Nick Siebold, Christian Siebold, Rachel (Ryan) Huxel, Regan (Dylan) Gildehaus, Robin (Zach) Koch, Ryan Mansfield, Joe Norman, Matt Norman, Josh Norman, Alexis Krepps, Brock Krepps, Christine Woiwood and Samantha Woiwood; doting great-grammy of Brayden Wymore, Brynlee Wymore, Blayke Wymore, Graham Richardson, Weston Huxel and Harper Koch; dearest sister to Joyce (the late Bob) Huff, Doyle (the late Mary) Mabury and Ray (Jewell) Mabury; dear sister-in-law to Ronnie (Dieanna) Krepps, daughter-in-law to the late Robert H. (Florence) Krepps, special aunt to many nieces and nephews, and sweet friend to Judy Brunette, Vickie Brown, Ann Vollet and the late Pansy Hayden. She will also be deeply missed by her fur babies Daisy, Molly & Coco.

She fought long and hard, and now it is time for her to rest. Her strength and unwavering faith have been an inspiration to us all. She will be forever missed.

Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Monday, October 24, 10 am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. While flowers are appreciated, the family would also welcome donations in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or St. Baldrick’s Foundation for Children’s Cancer Research: https://www.stbaldricks.org/teams/mypage/134103/2023.
