I loved our drill weekend talks and the recent ones after our retirement. The things we talked about. I just shared a story of your extensive boxing knowledge.
Sorry we didn’t get to see each other my last visit.
    Rest easy my brother.

  6. I served with Jason in the 126 SFS . I had the privilege to be deployed right along side him in 2019. He was always positive and level headed. He carried a calming and controlled presence, even in high stress situations. I remember him showing me a picture of his dog and we bonded over our love of our dogs. He was always a pleasure to have around and talk to. He is deeply missed and will never be forgotten.

We had some unforgettable talks and he gave me so much advice. He will truly be missed, and he will live on in our hearts and memories. Long Live Sargeant Leathers.

  8. Jason was one of the kindest, funniest guys I’ve ever met. One of my best memories of Jason was the time he won $1,000 at the casino and the next day he called and ask if I would help him pick out $1,000 worth of toys to take to Children’s hospital. He threw my bachelor party where I spent one of the best days of my life with my late father. We used to ride bikes downtown Saint Charles at night after work. We would be on the lookout for suspicious activity lol. I could go on and on with good memories that seem like yesterday. . You will be missed. Rest in peace friend
