In Loving Memory

Zakibe, Thomas A. “Zak”

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sunday, December 18, 2022. Beloved husband of Barbara Zakibe (nee Ahrens) for over 51 years; survived by his brother Mike Zakibe and sister Diane Zakibe (Frankenberg); our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Tom graduated from SIUE in 1971 with a masters degree of finance from SLU in 1974. He completed his military commitment and was honorably discharged from the 204th military police battalion Missouri National Guard in 1972. He battled Parkinson’s Disease with dignity, humor and grace. He enjoyed his Saturday and Tuesday golf groups but the most important thing was his love and dedication to his family.

Services; Visitation at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church on Tuesday 12/27 from 10AM until mass at 11AM. Private interment. In lieu of flowers donations to American Parkinson Association (Greater St. Louis Chapter) appreciated.
