I feel the need to tell more about my sweet, kind, friendly brother-in-law, Frankie. My sister Susie started dating Frank before I was born, so I never knew life without him. He was my brother, and Susie and Frank took my sister and me everywhere. Frank was a proud Navy Veteran, and I remember going to Pensacola, where he was stationed. He showed us all around the base and the big Navy kitchen, and then we went crabbing, which was so fun! Frank never met a stranger. He loved to talk to people, especially about cars (he religiously read Car and Driver magazine and knew all the stats) and the Cardinals. Frank loved baseball, and when I started looking at photos, in most of them, he was wearing a Cardinal shirt. I remember taking Georgia and John with Frank on a Sunday afternoon to the new Busch Stadium open house and having a blast. Frank loved my kiddos and especially loved his Susie. I am amazed at all the people I know who knew Frank, and they all said the same thing. How nice he was. He was just always there for the last 50 years, and he will be missed so much, but we have hope in Jesus, and we will see him again someday. Love you Frankie
Frank, I am so glad I got to see you at the class reunion last year. Too bad we didn’t get to “Y” dance at the reunion. We’ve known each other since how old were we? I know I lived next door to Susie since I was 2. I could not have grown up with a better bunch of people. I love all of you very much. You’re in God’s hands now. You will be missed by many of us. Love Sharon
