Virginia Lee Donnelli (nee Stark)
Age 94, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 1, 2025, following five years of care by her daughter, Janine with assistance from the staff at Edencrest Green Meadow and Care Initiatives Hospice. She leaves us behind to join her husband of 71 years, Herman Andrew Donnelli Sr., her lifelong friend, and partner (they lived across the street from one another until they married in 1948). Surviving her is son Herman (Andy) Donnelli, Jr. (Susan), daughters Lee Ellen Donnelli who preceded her in death, Janine (Patrick Shepard) Benson, and Genevieve who preceded her in death at birth. She was blessed with five grandchildren who loved her dearly, Drew (Heather) Donnelli, Aaron (Megan) Donnelli, Nina (Lee) Brown, Julia (Jake) Pemberton and Cristal Brantley who preceded her in death. She had ten great grandchildren Sophie Donnelli, Anna Donnelli, Chloe Donnelli, Katie Donnelli, Grady Donnelli, Quinn Donnelli, Henry Brown, Ella Pemberton, Genevieve Brown, and Harper Pemberton.
Virgina was preceded in death by her parents Fred O. Stark and E. Helen (Quinn) Stark and her sister Margie Rohlfing. She was a favorite aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews.
Virginia was a career woman, who focused on self-improvement and learning all she could about her chosen field of sales. Her career had two phases. Phase One was a thirty four-year career with Stanley Home Products retiring as an Area Manager working in Missouri, Iowa (three locations), and Michigan. Phase Two was becoming a real estate agent in retirement with a thirty-year career at Terre Du Lac, Missouri. At their retirement they built their third and final home at Terre Du Lac. Herman and Virginia could build anything together, including a loving family. She was a smart and loving woman who would do anything to help her many friends. Most of all her family always came first. She was a role model to all of us and will be greatly missed.

I will always remember Virginia as a very active energetic woman. So friendly. Gene and I send prayers to all the family.
I always enjoyed hearing about her through the facebook posts of her family. I was able to visit Aunt Ginni and Uncle Herman several times through out my life and enjoyed every visit with them. I know she was a great person and will be miss by many. May she rest in peace and be with those of family that have gone ahead of her.
I conceded her a second mother as much time I spent on Erie Ave.Were some wonderful childhood memories . Love you forever.
