Joseph C. Stuckenschneider was born on October 25, 1942 in St. Elizabeth, MO to John and Isabelle (nee Vandeven) Stuckenschneider, and entered into rest on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the age of 82.

Loving husband of 61 years to Helen (nee Ortbals). Dear father of Joseph Jr. (Kathy), Jeffrey, Brian (Andrea), Mark (Sharon), and the late Jeffrey Lane Stuckenschneider; Lori (Mike) Rotan; Jean (John) Sutton; and Kristi (Jayson) Mierek.  Dear brother to the late Norma (Norbert) Beck; Pat (the late Bill) Medsker; Janet (Larry) Mehmert; the late Linda (Malcolm) Epstein; and Mary Lou and John Stuckenschneider. Loving grandfather of Janiece, Stephen (Gabrielle), S.J., David, Megan, and Kyle Stuckenschneider; Jonathan Sutton; Matt (Chaley), Nathan, and Abby Rotan. Dear great grandfather of Blair Rotan. Dear uncle, cousin, and a friend of many.

Joseph enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he was a master mechanic and woodworker.

SERVICES: A VISITATION will be held on Friday, May 9 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. A FUNERAL MASS will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 1:00pm at Holy Family Catholic Church 2300 Church Rd., Arnold, MO.
