Russell Lee Groom Jr. born on June 12, 1963 in St. Louis to Russell Sr. and Judith (O’neal) Groom, entered his eternal rest on November 26, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength and an unwavering dedication to his family.

He was a member of the Land-of-Giants truck club, where he would fundraise to support different charities and show off his truck “The Hulkster”.
He loved to go off-roading in his Jeep, telling jokes, grilling, and making memories with his family.
Russell is survived by his beloved wife, Mary (Kimbrough), married December 10, 2022 in St. Louis; two daughters, Abigail (Taylor) Scott and Rachel (Charlie) Bailie; bonus-children Jaye (Ashley) Kimbrough, Jacob (Jaime) Kimbrough, and Jenna (Jimmy) Hardwick; grandchildren Maverick, Paislee and Caroline Scott, and bonus-grandchildren Ellie Kimbrough and Adrienne Green.

He is preceded in death by his father, Russell Sr, and his grandson, Weston Scott.
Russell will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor, and the way he put his family first. His legacy lives on through every life he touched and he will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
May his memory be a blessing, and may his loved ones find comfort in the love he gave so freely.
