Christopher Kirkweg

In Loving Memory

Kirkweg, Christopher William

November 5, 1985 - December 17, 2025

Christopher William Kirkweg, lovingly known as Chris, passed away in his home in OFallon, Missouri on December 17, 2025, at the age of 40. Born in Jefferson City, Missouri, Chris spent his life building deep roots of love, friendship, and family.

Chris was a devoted husband to his wife, Amy Kirkweg, and the proud, loving father of Oliver, Finn, and Tate Kirkweg, as well as a cherished stepfather to Henry Johnson. More than anything in this world, Chris loved his boys. Being their dad was his greatest joy, and his love for them was steady, fierce, and unconditional.

Chris is also survived by his father, William Kirkweg; his mother, Janet Kirkweg; his sister, Lindsey Kirkweg; his brother, Bryan Kirkweg; and his beloved grandfather, Alfred Kirkweg. He was deeply connected to his family and held close the friendships that meant so much to him throughout his life.

Chris was a strong man in every sense of the word. He was an extremely hard worker, someone who showed up every day with determination and grit, always doing his best for the people he loved. He had a passion for sports in all forms—reading about them, watching them, and attending events whenever he could. Sports were more than a pastime for Chris; they were a source of joy, connection, and excitement that he loved sharing with others.

Above all else, Chris will be remembered for his big heart, his loyalty, his strength, and the love he poured into his family and close friends. His presence filled a room, and his absence leaves a space that cannot be replaced.
