Signorino, Bernardo “Leo” Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday June 22, 2026 at the age of 91. Leo was born in Sicily, Italy on March 22, 1935 to the late Maria and Pasquale Signorino. His family immigrated from Sicily to Saint Louis, MO in 1955 . Where Leo would met his beloved wife, Trudy Heller. They would wed in 1969 and have two sons, Matteo and Mario.
Leo was a cabinet maker by trade and when he came to Saint Louis he was able to find work as a carpenter. He would go on to join the Carpenters Union and was a member for sixty-nine years. He did most of his work for the Saint louis Public School System and the May Company.
Leo was a devoted member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, actively serving in the Holy Name Society and volunteering at the Lenten fish fries. Leo Enjoyed playing cards, sharing coffee with friends, watching sports and caring for his fig tree. You knew that Leo considered you family if he randomly showed up at your door with a hand full of figs from his tree. However, his greatest joy was the time he spent with family and friends, especially his two grandchildren Leo and Joanie.
Leo will be remembered as a loving husband to the late Trudy Signorino. Loving father of Matteo (Mia) and Mario (Jaime) Signorino. Dearest papa of Leo and Joanie Signorino. Our dear brother, brother-in-law-, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Services: Graveside service will be held on Thursday July 9, 2026 at Resurrection Cemetery, 6901 Mackenzie Road, Saint Louis, MO 63123, at 10:00am
