John Elmer Reusch, 75, passed away on August 4, 2026. He was born on January 18, 1951, to Elmer and Flora Reusch.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, B. Jean Reusch (Kettler); his son Daniel and wife Mallory; his son James and wife Lauren; and his cherished granddaughters, Harper and Everly.
John dedicated his life to the jewelry business, beginning his career at just 13 years old at Wehmueller Jewelers. His passion and expertise led him to open his own store in 1982, Moritz-Reusch Jewelry, which he built into a lasting legacy in the community.
Outside of work, John lived life fully. He loved to travel, with Jamaica holding a special place in his heart as a favorite destination he returned to time and again. He had a lifelong love of cars, and took great pride and joy in his newly restored Shelby Mustang. John was also devoted to staying active, making working out a regular and meaningful part of his life.
John will be remembered for his craftsmanship, his zest for life, and the love he shared with his family. He leaves behind a legacy built on dedication, adventure, and the relationships he cherished most.
Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois, Friday August 7th, 4:00-8:00 PM. Burial will be private.
