In Loving Memory

Clark-Davis, Christy Alice

Clark-Davis, Christy Alice (Bouffard) passed from this life to the next at the Circle of Life Hospice Home at Legacy Village in Bentonville, Ark., on Jan. 24, 2017, surrounded by family and friends.

Born in St. Louis in 1955, she became a resident of Webster Groves at 2 years of age.
Christy enjoyed her education through the Webster Groves schools, graduating in 1973 from the high school. She studied liberal arts for two years at Iowa State University, then two years at Fontbonne College in St. Louis, in the fine arts program. She worked as a designer for construction companies and Walmart.

Christy married her high school sweetheart, David Clark. Their son, Jason Philip Clark (Blythe) and two sons Joseph Robert (3) and George Marshall (7) live in Palm Bay, Fla. Christy’s ashes will be scattered on the waters of the Atlantic Ocean from her son’s fishing boat, where she spent many happy times. Christy and Dave had both remarried and remained friends.

She moved to Eureka Springs County in Arkansas with her husband, Dan Davis. While her husband piloted for American Airlines, she owned and operated an art and antique business in Eureka Springs city. Her life in the woods near the lake was a comfort and joy.

A memorial service will be held at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois in Affton, on April 15 from 1 to 3 p.m., with a memorial service at 1:30 p.m.

The family thanks Christy’s neighbors and friends, classmates and teachers for the wonderful memories she’s had about growing up in Webster Groves. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
