Lester E. Anderson (64), passed away peacefully in his home on May 1, 2024, with his family lovingly by his side.
Les is survived by his former wife and friend, Tracy Anderson, and their three children, Sara (Nathan Nielson) Anderson, Brady Anderson, and Christopher (Madeline Eckelkamp) Anderson. He is also survived by his big brother, Terry Anderson, along with his niece and nephews, Dawn Caiafa, Terry Anderson Jr. and Kory Anderson. Les was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine Bick and Edward Anderson, his step-father, Frank Bick, his little brother, Craig Anderson and his sister-in-law, Kathy Anderson.
He held many titles as a laborer, skilled mason, in addition to administrator, retiring from Bricklayers’ Local 1 of Missouri after a lifetime membership in the union. Les was an avid outdoorsman, with a passion for fishing, hunting, and exploring the great outdoors. Always the practical jokester and car karaoke King, Les balanced his stubborn and unruly self with a fun, loving, and generous spirit. His rough shell, softened over the years giving way to a gentle man who loved so hard.
The departure of our father and friend comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and is gravely felt by so many.
