  7. Harvey as a police officer, in the court room, and in life could always be counted upon to handle any situation in a skillful, courageous. and tactful manner. It was my honor to work with him. He raised two wonderful daughters who he proudly spoke of often. He set a great example for his family and us all, that we’ll always remember.

  10. A wonderful man you will never forget once you’ve met him. My grown son and I were honored to be jurors on the same case with Harvey being our bailiff . He was all business but his kind heart made the entire jury experience worthwhile and rewarding. He mentioned how he loved to bake cheesecakes for his court family. We know you will miss him.

  12. I remember the young Burnett Brothers in the late seventies, working out of the old 7th District at Union and Enright. At the time I was working as a Medic for EMS. Bill would be carrying that big brown suitcase with the United States Marine logo on it with Harvey right there with him.
As life would have it, Harvey and I worked our retirement jobs at the St Louis County Courts, as Bailiffs. I would always see Harvey around the courthouse, cracking jokes and sharing his hilarious point of view on the topic of the day!
    Rest Well!!!

  13. Harvey and I were Court neighbors in several divisions for most of the more than 13 years we have worked as Bailiffs. We always helped each other. He was always willing to help if you needed something. He and another Bailiff saved the life of a Judge that had a heart attack in the courthouse. I have considered him a friend for a long time and will miss him.

  14. In addition to being a retired SLMPD sergeant, and longtime bailiff at the St. Louis County Courts, Harvey was also an accomplished cook. But most noteworthy in his time at the courthouse was in June of 2021. Harvey saved a judge’s life, who had gone into cardiac arrest on the bench. I was present, and it was a spectacular effort on Harvey’s part. I will miss Harvey; he was a splendid human being.
