Diane Ruth Collier of Sikeston, Missouri entered into her eternal rest and the arms of her Lord Jesus on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 71. She was born July 9, 1951 in Alton, Illinois to the late Jack Edward Collier and Bernice Neuendorf Collier.

She is survived by two sisters, Susan Marie Collier of Farmington, Missouri and Nancy (Jim) Sanders of Farmington, Missouri, a brother Wayne (Karen) Collier of High Ridge, Missouri. Diane has one brother David Collier who preceded her in  death.

Diane is also survived by her caretakers and friends of Heartland Supportive Living in Sikeston, Leigh Trankler, Hannah McDOnald, her primary caregiver Nylas, who loved and cared for her, roommate April, and her special friend whom she loved dearly, Danny.

Diane also had another love in her life, Elvis. She and her mother visited his home, Graceland, in Memphis and she was a collector of all things Elvis.

Diane was a special needs person all her life. In spite of handicap, she was able to attend school, get a job and make friends wherever she lived. She was a participant in Special Olympics for many years receiving medals in running and bowling.

She was loved by many and she will be missed but remain forever in our hearts and in the loving arms of Jesus.

Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comfort us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, Amen.
