Truly the sweetest soul. I’m sure you’re enjoying a dance with Uncle Ed in heaven.
So sorry for your loss
Shirley was a sweet lady
Always enjoyed sitting next to her during group dinners
Shirley and I worked closely together from April 1979 to April 1984 when she was the Training /National Academy Secretary and I was the Training / National Academy Coordinator in the St. Louis Office of the FBI. Shirley was a joy to work with each and every day. I never gave a second thought to a request I gave her as I knew it would be done as close to perfect as could be. She always had a smile on her face and a good word for everyone.
Over the many years I knew Shirley before and after we worked together those four years, she was an example of excellence in every position she held. The Bureau was a much better organization having Shirley Wagner as a member.
May she rest in peace with her beloved Ed, both who gave great service to our nation.
everyone should have a co-worker like Shirley aka WAGS. She was the GREATEST.
Thanks for all you taught me and Thanks for the memories.
Love and Missing You.
I was fortunate to work with Shirley for many years at the FBI. One of her assignments as a supervisor was to check the paperwork of the new employees and she earned the job title, “Chief Checker”. Shirley was also known as “Wags”, and was liked and respected by her superiors as well as those whom she supervised. She was cheerful and fun to be around and always had a kind word for everyone.
What a great lady. Always upbeat, friendly and very competent in her years of service with the FBI.
