Forsyth

In Loving Memory

Forsyth, Larry L.

Larry Leroy Forsyth, aged 67 years,

Peacefully passed away on June 10th, 2023. He was born on February 20, 1956 in Fredericktown,MO. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, dear brother, Larry served his country as a sergeant in the United States Air Force—and dedicated 40 years working for Boeing.

Larry is survived by his loving spouse, Petrina (Monti) Forsyth, who stood by his side through thick and thin. His children, Jamie Forsyth and Heather Walker, Larry’s love extended to his stepson, Victor Monti, whom he embraced as his own, and his son-in-law, Tim Walker. Larry held a special place in his heart for his brother, Bill Forsyth, and shared countless memories together. Larry’s greatest joy came from his role as a doting grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth in the hearts of his grandchildren: Lucas Walker, Kaylee Walker, Taylor Walker, and Abby Fraysher. Their presence brought him endless delight, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, William Forsyth, his mother, Myrtle Forsyth, his sister, Susie Crites, and his brother, Terry Forsyth. Although he is no longer with us, Larry’s spirit and the memories he created will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

In this time of grief, let us remember Larry Forsyth as a kind-hearted, compassionate individual who touched the lives of many. His memory will continue to live on in our hearts, reminding us of the love and laughter he brought to our lives.

Services; Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Tuesday, 6/20 at 12PM. Interment at JB National Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 6/19 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Childrens Reaserch Hospital or Shriners Hospital For Children appreciated.

Larry, may your spirit fly higher than the planes you built and inspire us to live each day to the fullest. You will be forever missed and remembered with great admiration.

  2. I started working at Boeing in 2009 looking to fit in. I was placed on the C17 program in Larry’s area and he took me under his wing. He was my mentor for 4 1/2 years. We continued to check in on each other at work til he retired. Larry was a good man with great patience and work ethic. I will miss you Larry
Thank you for being there for me.

  4. Dear Forsyth and Monti families, I am profoundly sorry for the passing of Larry, which seems to have happened much too early in his life. He was a good and kind man, and he will be missed by so many. My heart goes out to you.
