Fortified with the Sacraments Holy Mother Church on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Beloved husband of Carol Gapsch (nee Hessler) for 66 years.  Dearest father of Tamara “Tammy” Musgrove and Deborah “Debbie” Siebert. Loving grandfather of, Krista Siebert (Dan) Smith, Tiffany Ruhland, Shannon Musgrove and the late Lauren Sanchez. Dear great-grandfather of Lou, Sebastian, Joshua, Alice, Parker and Alyssa. Dear brother of the late Leroy (Georgia) and Moritz (survived by Benilda) Gapsch. Dear brother-in-law of John “Jack” (Nancy) and Kenneth “Ken” (Lois) Hessler. Dear uncle and great-uncle. Special friends Russell Siebert, Horacio Sanchez, Jared Ruhland and many more.

Ken was an ambitious person.  Co-owner of Gapsch Bros, Inc., he was always a car enthusiast—new and old.  Avid gardener, hunter, fisherman, traveler and fun lover.  Ken loved and respected his family and friends with all his heart.

SERVICES:  Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road on Wednesday, May 20 from 4-8PM. Concord Village Lions Club Rose Service will take place at 6PM. Funeral Mass at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church 4900 Ringer Road on Thursday, May 21 at 9AM.  Burial with full military honors to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque or the Concord Village Lions Club appreciated.

    Phil and I are so sorry to hear about Ken’s passing. Ken and Phil were friends for many years . We are lucky to have such wonderful memories.
    I’m so glad Phil ran into you and Ken at Costco. Phil enjoyed catching up with Ken.

    Janet and I are so sorry to hear about Ken’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Memories that go back over 65 years!

    My thanks to Ken, Motz, and Hal for giving me my first real job after high school. A real job working for Gapsch Brothers Auto Repair in Concord Village.

  6. Carol, I am very sorry to hear about Ken’s passing. You and Ken were an integral part of taking care of me in the mid 60’s when my mom spent so much time in the hospital.. I look back and appreciate growing up with Tammy and Debbie. My love to all of you. 💕

    Gayle and I are very sorry to hear that Kenny has passed away. We still talk about our trip to South Carolina about 30 years ago with you, Kenny and the Gosnell’s. Jim and I were the ones that found the 32 pickup street rod that Kenny bought.

    We were privileged to be neighbors since 1992. Ken was always so kind, caring, and giving.
    He was always smiling and gave us many veggies from his garden. He had a heart of gold, and a smile that lit a room.
    Ken will always be in our hearts and in our prayers.
