Carolyn Hantak (nee Stanfield), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, surrounded by her children and husband. She was 87 years old.
Carolyn was born on September 11, 1938. She shared 66 loving years of marriage with her husband, Bob Hantak. Together, they built a loving family and a lifetime of cherished memories.
Carolyn was the devoted mother of Greg (Gayle) Hantak, Jeanne (Dave) Cole, Nancy (Rick) Brockmeyer, Susan (Mark) Lesher, and Katie (Tim) Monroe. She was a loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren and to four great-grandchildren.
Carolyn leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and family that will continue for generations to come. She will be deeply missed by her family, extended family, and many friends who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
Services: Memorial visitation at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (610 W. Ripa Ave 63125) on Tuesday, September 8 from 9:30 A.M. until Mass at 11 A.M.
