Mary Napoli

In Loving Memory

Hendel (Napoli), Mary Beth

Mary Beth Hendel, born March 19, 1950, passed away peacefully Monday December 1, 2025, surrounded by love, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. She was the beloved daughter of Philip and Florence, whose guidance and devotion helped shape the caring, generous woman she became. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard, and her three sons — Jimmy (Angie), Pete (Leslie), and Steven (Jackie) — who were the pride and joy of her life.

Mary Beth is also survived by her loving sister, Rose Ann, and her brothers — Phil, Joe, and Johnny — each of whom shared a lifelong bond with her.

Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Gabe, Savannah, Dominic, Dani, Nico, Luca, and Gio. MaryBeth delighted in watching them grow and treasured the laughter and everyday moments they shared.

Mary Beth’s family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care she received from her caregivers, Chris and Chrissy, whose kindness and support brought comfort and peace in her final chapter.

She will be remembered for her strength and her unwavering devotion to her family. MaryBeth had a generous heart and a spirit that brightened the lives of everyone around her. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures — dancing, playing board games and cards, and trying her luck at the slot machines.

Family and friends will forever remember her guidance, her open heart, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched.

Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Friday December 12, 9:30 am to St. Francis of Assisi Church for 10:00 am Mass. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-8 pm.

  2. We had the pleasure of knowing Mary Beth. She was a cute, energetic lady that shared our grandchildren with us. She was a wonderful grandmother to them and I believe she left them with good memories.
We also will remember fun times we spent with her. She will be missed by all her family.

  3. Many fond memories of Mary Beth at Mizzou tailgates. When she couldn’t make it, she always made sure we had her famous chocolate chip cookies and some fruit to keep the boys healthy. She was a beautiful person both inside and out and will be dearly missed by many. I will always admire Rich for how he stuck to his vows by sacrificing to help Mary Beth in the last few years. RIP🙏
