Kempfer, Wesley Edward Sr.

September 10, 1931 - October 2, 2024

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Wednesday, October 2, 2024.  Beloved husband of Mary Kempfer (nee: Kurt).  Dear father of Wesley Kempfer Jr., Sherry (the late Austin) Deery, Jeanne (Bob) Reese, Susie (Stephen) Brodeur, Lisa (Steve) Dreyer, Joe (Joy) Kempfer, Karla (the late Chris) Martin, Doug (Kim Giesler) Grills and the late Timothy Michael Kempfer.  Dear grandfather of 33, great grandfather of 61 and great great grandfather of 7.  Dear brother of Robert (Bonnie) Kempfer and Joan (Pete) Bruggeman.  Our dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

Mr. Kempfer was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran who served in the Korean War.

SERVICES:  Memorial visitation at St. Peter Catholic Church (243 West Argonne Drive Kirkwood, Missouri 63122) on Saturday, October 5, 10:00 a.m. until Memorial Mass at 12:00 noon.  Private interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Wounded Warriors appreciated.

  1. Was my boss(Sheetmetal foreman) for close to 30 years. Great person to learn from,work for,and work with!!!!!! You will be talked about and missed. Condolences to his family, rest in peace my friend!!!

    • Mike, this is Chris Moore. I was very sorry to hear about Wes. I know that a lot of people didn’t like him in the shop but I did and I think he was a great guy also. I hope that you were doing well.
