Dad I love and miss you very much. We helped you to the best of our ability for a little over 2 years and 7 months. You were a huge part of our lives. Watching the birds and deer outside was one of your favorite things. I hope we did enough.

To Agnes and the Krause Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences upon the passing of Frank. He was truly one of the memorable personalities of the Lansdowne neighborhood, and I will always cherish the many conversations we shared over the years.
During his retirement, it seemed almost customary to see Frank sitting faithfully on his front porch on Lansdowne Avenue, watching the neighborhood and waiting for me to walk by. Every visit would begin with a question about city government, neighborhood issues, politics, or whatever challenge happened to be on his mind that particular day. To some extent, Frank humorously viewed me as the “Mayor of Lansdowne,” and our conversations often turned into spirited discussions filled with opinions, stories, laughter, and practical problem-solving.
Frank was determined and persistent, especially when he believed something was unjust. I remember the frustration he carried regarding the workers’ compensation claim connected to injuries he suffered during his years as a truck driver. After learning that missed filing deadlines by his attorney had cost him the original case, he remained steadfast in seeking accountability. I was grateful to help connect him with an attorney willing to pursue justice against the negligent representation itself — something many lawyers would hesitate to undertake. When Frank ultimately prevailed and received compensation, he was both surprised and amused to learn how attorney fees worked. I can still picture the look he gave me — first a frown of disbelief, then that familiar smile.
I also remember his battle involving the city tree limbs that repeatedly damaged his vehicles. Once again, Frank stayed determined, pursued the matter through small claims court as advised, and successfully obtained compensation after years of unresolved service requests. That was Frank — persistent, practical, and never afraid to stand his ground when he believed he was right.
Beyond those neighborhood discussions and legal battles, I will especially remember hearing about the fishing trips he so dearly loved. Frank found peace trout fishing from his little camper, while Agnes faithfully accompanied him, often nearby with a good book in hand as he enjoyed the outdoors. Those simple moments together reflected the companionship and devotion that anchored his life.
Frank was truly quite a character — thoughtful, opinionated, humorous, determined, and deeply engaged with the world around him. No matter what political issue or neighborhood concern we discussed, I always looked forward to our conversations and the friendship that grew from them over the years.
May God grant Frank eternal rest and may perpetual light shine upon him. May all of you find comfort in the many memories, stories, and moments of laughter that he leaves behind.
With heartfelt sympathy and prayers .. May his memory be eternal !
Deepest condolences to your family. May he rest peacefully and may you all find comfort at this time.
Julie so sorry for your loss sending prayers for you and your family
Susan, Julie, and Ronda I am so deeply sorry for the loss of Uncle Frank. Please know that I am thinking of you all during this heartbreaking time. I hope you can find comfort in all of your memories of him. We are sending love, prayers, and strength to you all in the days ahead.
I want to start with my deepest condolences to the family. Over the years, I have thoroughly enjoyed my many conversations with Uncle Frank. Stories of his long-haul trips, fishing trips, and other wonderful stories. Not all of his long-haul stories were good ones due to dangerous weather conditions and so on. Even so, he still loved the scenery and all the beautiful things he saw along the way. My favorite story was the story of how he met Aunt Agnes. He mentioned knowing he was going to marry her at first glance. I remember being so in awe of how pure and wonderful that would have been. We had many conversations about Freddie and how kind he always was to him. I especially loved the stories of him building cuckoo clocks and what a wonderful legacy to have passed down to Julie and Susan. Having something so unique is such a blessing and honor for them. I will miss him, as much as I miss my own parents.
May you find eternal peace and happiness in your final resting place.
With much love,
Paula
