Daniel W Lanham Jr

In Loving Memory

Lanham, Daniel W. Jr.

July 5, 1974 - November 12, 2025

Daniel Ward Lanham Jr, 51, passed away November 12, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family. Born to Daniel W Lanham Sr and Sharon Ann Lanham (Tullock).  Dan was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.

Danny was the twin brother of the late Debra Ann Lanham, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. He is lovingly remembered by his sisters Mary O’Malley (Chris), Shannon Lanham (Teri), and Shari Mathes, each of whom held a special place in his heart.  Lovingly known as Uncle D, he was a devoted and caring uncle who cherished his nieces and nephews – Samantha, Marissa, Stephanie, Kevin, Olivia, Spencer, Connor, and Carter.  He was also a proud great-uncle to Luke. He was treasured by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, which he adored.

Danny loved celebrating life with others.  Hosting Mardi Gras in Soulard became a treasured tradition for him, one that brought together  friends, family, and laughter.  He had a gift for making others feel welcome, included, and valued.  He also found joy in opening his home and heart to animals, giving them the same unconditional care he offered to others.

Above all, Dan will be remembered as one of the most kind and selfless souls you could ever meet.  His quiet strength, warm smile, and unwavering generosity made a lasting impact on all fortunate enough to know him.  The love he shared with his family will be remembered always.  His memory lives on in the love he gave, the memories he created, and the lives he touched.

Condolences

  2. He was a special person that never said unkind word about anyone. He made me an Aunt for the first time. When him and his sisters were young me and my sister Weazie would take them to the park or other places. We worked for the city so we had the same days off. Those are some of my favorite memories. I’m proud to say he was my nephew. Fly high Danny.
