  3. What an incredible man! We were privledged to be with him on numerous “Pozzo” occasions. Always had a smile and a kind word. Know that he is with Clara and happy. Praying the God is enveloping his family with the love and peace. Talk about a life well lived (sigh). Cherish and smile and laugh as you recall memories. It’s what Mr. Pozzo would want that. Hugs and kisses:)

  5. My prayers are with you and for John. But I know he is enjoying the fruits of
many years of prayer. He was a wonderful person and a joy to be with. I had the pleasure of living with Sr. Eleanor and met John at the dinners he attended with us. We all enjoyed his humor and his talents. God is pleased to welcome him home.

  7. John and Clara lived across the street from us (the Santens) for 60 years and what fantastic neighbors they were! I can remember the holiday and patio parties they had back in the day. And after Clara passed and then Jeanette, John would go to the cemetery and visit them both. He said Jeanette was buried near enough to Clara… neighbors again! My dad and John would have long visits retelling great stories and the talking about the simple pleasures of life. Well, they are all four reunited again and I’ll just bet they are having a grand time. Rest in peace, John. We are grateful for your friendship and your service to our country.

  11. Uncle John was a special man who always had a smile and a story to share. He and Uncle Mick always reminded me of my sweet grandpa Emil, their brother. They all knew the precious value of family. I’ll never forget Uncle John hugging me at my grandpa’s funeral in 2011 and saying quietly, “Family is everything.” It still brings tears to my eyes. Such a good man. I’m sure he was welcomed home by Aunt Clara. He never missed a chance to tell me how much he missed her.
