Becker, Oliver Paul

 

Oliver Paul Becker, 92 of St Louis, Missouri passed peacefully at home with loved ones on August 22, 2022.

Oliver was born in St. Louis, Missouri to George and Louise (Busse) Becker and where he spent most of his early years until he enlisted in the Army and served during the Korean War and received 4 medals for his service. Later, married Genevieve (Raidt), and began their family.  He was a loving, Christian, and devoted husband and father who never met a stranger, and you would often see him walking the neighborhood and talking to everyone.  He had an infectious smile that would light up a room and he will be greatly and forever missed.

Oliver leaves behind his wife Genevieve of 57 years, his daughters and sons, Ethel, Genny (Larry), Kathy (Michael), Paul, Stanley, and Steven and grandchildren Jessica (Kartik), Kim, Matthew (Jacyln), Ryan, and Shawn and great grandchildren Jackson, Kaitlyn, Ryder, Stephanie, Steven (little man).

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Louise, his sisters Emma, Louise, and brothers, Norman and George.

SERVICES:  Funeral at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, on Friday, August 26 at 10am.  Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  Visitation Thursday 4-8pm.
