Andrew Blosser

In Loving Memory

Blosser, Andrew Nicholas “Drew”

June 4, 1993 - August 30, 2023

Our beloved son and brother, Andrew (Drew) Nicholas Blosser, suddenly left us August 29, 2023.  He left behind a family that he loved, and that loved him, very much.  His mother and father, Kathleen Blosser and Harley Blosser, both of St. Louis, MO, a brother, Brian Blosser and partner, Laura Schatzman, and their son, Henri Blosser, of Montreal, Canada, a brother, Michael Blosser and his wife, Christianne Zambrano, of Los Angeles, CA, a sister, Colleen Essid and her husband, Hedi Essid, and their daughter, Layla Essid, and their son, Rami Essid,  of St. Louis, MO, and a grandmother, Cecile Brown, of Scottsdale, AZ, who will miss him so much.  Drew was fond of children, especially his nephews and niece, and felt a kinship with animals, such as his adopted rescue dog, Luffy.

Drew was skilled at computers and electronics and enjoyed going skiing and playing tennis, bike riding in St. Louis’ Forest Park, and trips to go hiking with his Aunt Marguerite in and near Phoenix, AZ. He loved Manga and learning the Japanese language and hoped to visit Japan one day. He was a film afficionado and knew all the film classics. He enjoyed going out for Japanese barbecue and Greek gyros and, according to his niece, Layla, was the best at pushing her in the swing. It is sadly notable that on the day of his passing he declared that he felt he had found his true calling as he had recently begun professional training to become a carpenter.

While sometimes a shy person, Drew could also bring a smile to everyone’s face and light up a room.

Drew’s family has set this Saturday September 2, 2023, from  Noon to 1 p.m. for visitation with the family and a Celebration of Drew’s life at the Kutis Funeral Home at 10151 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123.  The family encourages anyone who would like to donate in Drew’s honor to consider doing so at http://istodaymydayrescue.org , a foster and adoption rescue organization for dogs.
