Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Monday October 2 at 9:30 am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project appreciated. Visitation Sunday 4-8 pm.
We are so sorry to hear of June’s passing. She was an awesome neighbor and dear friend. Treasure all the memories for I know there is an abundance of good memories to reflect upon. Prayers and hugs for you all
How can one not think of all the wonderful memories Aunt June provided throughout her life? She was tender, caring, and loving but had a bit of feistiness about her. The many years of hosting July 4th picnics and Christmas gatherings are packed full of love. Those were wonderful times for the Lurkins and Roulston families to re-unite and catch up on our individual lives.
I think her favorite saying that I still can hear:
“KISS MY ASS!!” Rest in the Lord’s peace, Aunt June. We love you.
