In Loving Memory

Milward, Thomas Charles

Thomas (Tom) Charles Milward passed away on October 1st, 2023 at his home in Maryland Heights, MO at the age of 74 after battling leukemia.

Tom leaves behind his wife of 15 years Shari (Sperino), son Aaron (Stephanie) and daughter Jessica (Barclay Hirth) and their mother Fran, brother Mark (Sherri), sister Jeanne (John) Bethmann,  grandsons, Elliot and Oscar Hirth, four nieces and nephews, and two step children. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Dolores, brother David, and nephew Scott.

Tom was born on June 25th, 1949 and grew up in Kirkwood, Missouri. He attended Kirkwood High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia, and was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity where he made many lifelong friends. Tom also served in the Vietnam War with the US Army from 1970 to 1971. After returning to college to finish his degree in Business, Tom had a successful career in sales and product management with several companies, most recently retiring after 25 years with Beltservice Corporation.

Besides his love of family and friends, Tom’s passion was the game of golf. From playing with his weekly golf groups to watching professional tournaments in person or on TV, he looked forward to every opportunity to hit the sticks and amassed four hole-in-ones to his name. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and loved to showcase his grilling skills to his friends and family with, of course, a glass of his favorite bourbon in hand. Tom was a caring husband, father, brother, grandpa and friend. Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
