Scurlock,Sr. Roy G.  was born on May 23, 1952 and entered into rest on Saturday, July 18, 2020; son of the late Harry C. Sr. and Irma L. Scurlock; Beloved husband of Karen L. Scurlock (nee McGlaughlin); loving father of Roy G. “Sonny” (Stephanie) Scurlock, Jr. and Kimberly Ann (Todd) Saettele; grandpa of Tiffany (Will Hackworth) Saettele, Chris (Tonia) Saettele, Brooke (Stephen Rude) Saettele, Tristan Scurlock, Shayne Scurlock and Delanie Scurlock; great-grandpa of Jace and Asher Hackworth, Camden and Colton Saettele and Mason and Robert Saettele; brother of Harry (Wanda) Scurlock, Robbie (Judy) Scurlock, Jackie (late Mike) Holifield and Betty (Jeff) Haverstick. our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Roy retired from MoDOT after many years of dedicated service as a Maintenance Supervisor. He is gone, but never forgotten.

Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Thursday, July 23, 10:30 a.m. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday 4-8 p.m.

  3. Aunt Karen, Kim, and Sonny. I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many great childhood memories with uncle Roy from riding around in his green dune buggy to going to six flags and riding the roller coasters. He was a loving generous man who will be deeply missed. I love you all and are keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
