Seaton, Ronnie L.

Ronnie Lee Seaton, age 81, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2022 with his cherished wife Doris by his side.  Ron was exceptionally proud of his family, including his wife Doris, two daughters Kim (Chris) Hermes and Kristi, and granddaughter Laura Hermes.  Born August 29, 1940 in Branch, (Camden Co.) Missouri, Ronnie was the eldest of the late Elbert and Edith Seaton’s five children.  He is survived by brothers Frank and Gary (Cheryl), and sister Sharon Box.  He was preceded in death by his sister Wanda.  His love for family extended to many others, including his mother-in- law and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews, dear friends and beloved Church family.

He lived and worked most of his life in Kansas City, MO and lived in St. Louis, MO for the past four years.  He was a devoted member of Arborknoll Gospel Assembly in Kansas City and Gospel Church in St. Louis, MO.

Ron was a man of strong faith.  He enjoyed a long career at North American Savings Bank in Belton, MO.  He loved traveling, and he especially had a passion for visiting our National Parks and marveling at the wonders of God’s creation.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, for his joyful sense of humor and his kind, sensitive and humble spirit.

Services:  Visitation at Gospel Church 5740 Telegraph Road St. Louis, MO 63129 Friday, June 10, 11 am until service at 1 pm.  Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association, appreciated. By Kutis South County Chapel.

  1. Uncle Ron was one of the finest men I’ve ever known. His laugh was infectious and his devotion to Christ inspired so many of us. I know there was a large gathering above waiting to welcome him home. He will be missed until we meet again.

  11. I am so sorry for everyone’s loss, Uncle Ron was a one of a kind. One of the nicest people you would ever meet. Now that he’s returned to heaven we’ll miss him. I believe he’s reunited with grandma and Others. So he’s in good hands. I’ll keep you all in my prayers. God bless you all.

  15. Br.Ron was such a inspiration to all of us in the williams familyI as well of our church family. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. He never complain [ except when sweet deserts where in front of him]
